    Found, not bought

    Roof-truss oak, chalet larch, floorboards. We visit the sites before the skip does.

  2. 02The workshop

    Cut, turn, oil

    Each piece is dried, cut, turned and oiled by hand. Knots and nail holes stay — they are the wood's story.

  3. 03The lamp

    One piece, one number

    Linen shade, brass socket, fabric cable. The lamp gets its number and the name of its site.

  4. 04At your place

    Six days later

    Packed in reclaimed cardboard, shipped within Switzerland or picked up at the workshop in Lausanne.

Frequently asked questions

How long before I receive my lamp?

Six days for a piece in stock, from order to dispatch. For a custom lamp, allow three weeks after the quote.

How do I care for the wood?

A dry cloth is enough. Once a year, a drop of hardwax oil on a cloth brings the wood back to its first-day tone.

Which bulb do I need?

A standard E27, LED preferably, up to 60 W equivalent. The lamp ships without a bulb so you can pick the colour temperature you like.

Can I bring my own wood?

Yes, that is the whole point of made to order: a beam, a plank, a piece that matters to you. We look together at what it can become; the quote goes out within 48 hours.

Do you deliver, or do I come to the workshop?

Both. Shipping within Switzerland in reclaimed cardboard, or pickup at the Lausanne workshop by appointment — a chance to see the wood of the next lamps.
